so, a bit of backstory: i first came up with this idea sometime in 2020, and it was kind of tumbling around in my mind for a while.

then, in like mid-to-late-2020, me and my friends had a thing we were doing in a group chat where we would each do a story every week based on a word, kind of like inktober.

so since elaiza was taking up a lot of my allocated creative writing brain room, i ended up mostly writing elaiza stories, so that's where most of these ideas come from.
